At work: I fixed my company’s Nextcloud, which had put the server’s CPU under constant 100% CPU load for over a year before I started the job. The former admin had used some weird script downloaded from a random website to install it. I reconfigured the LAMP stack from the ground up and updated everything to current versions. CPU usage is down to 3% and people can actually access their files again.

At home: I finally got around to fixing up the old road bike I bought last year. The chain was 3 links too long and it could only shift into 9 out of 22 gears. Now it purrs like a kitten.

At the non-profit youth center I volunteer at: I hosted my first public event, a rock concert with 3 bands. Took promotional photos, edited them, created social media posts, coordinated with the bands, the sound and light techs, the other volunteers, the suppliers, and generally managed everything during the event. It was a success. At one point I had a few free minutes to stand in the crowd during the concert when hundreds of people were cheering, and I thought to myself “I helped create this!”

I also quit alcohol recently, which probably has a lot to do with the other things.
