Happy midsummer to you too. Though for me it’s the beginning of Summer, as shown by the annual local motivationals.
It’s nice to meet all you. I am she/her, can speak Toki Pona and English (non-natively), and locatable on Reddit as MozartWasARed. Good, though could do without the mosquitoes/allergies/weather. Also recently celebrated a few friends’ birthdays which was good.
I can’t remember all the bits and pieces last week that would allow me to answer this, but at the very beginning of this week, I was happy to learn that people where I’ve been living for two years now, despite not having fully warmed up to me (and they may never do so, which does feel a little lonely), consider me a positive addition to the community to more of an extent than I originally thought. There are a number of people who give me a hard time in day-to-day life and I’ve noticed more and more they’re growing into the whole “leave Spiderman alone” routine on them.
About to go back to sleep on my stomach as I sleep.
More of Star Wars The Acolyte. There’s at least some appeal in the fact it doesn’t take place during the Vader or Kylo eras like everything else.
Wouldn’t it save data power? I would imagine that a game with the simpler visuals from the golden age of video games would cost a machine less bytes to perform.
Thanks. How has your day been?
The heat wave is unbearable. But other than roasting my butt off, I’m doing good. Enjoyed the day off due to the free federal holiday yesterday.
Why don’t they just do what the Google Headquarters do and get goats to eat the grass?
Do you use an emulator or do you do it the old fashioned way?
I’m not saying it did better than Twilight Princess, just that they’re comparable.
I have one, just didn’t know any were phone-compatible like that.
You wouldn’t be wrong about games peaking in the PS2 years, in fact the PS3 specifically made itself backward compatible with the PS1 and not the PS2 because it would’ve given the PS2 an unwanted W in how utterly overshadowing it was.
At this point probably to look like they can compete with other games, which might explain the fact nobody complains indie games seem primitive.
Don’t forget though there’s more than one way to make interactivity. The original Legend of Zelda was the 8-bit equivalent of Breath of the Wild and offered a lot of intrigue in each stage when it came to where to go next by having the right cause and effect system.
TIL you can play Pokémon Firered on a phone.
And people wonder why Wind Waker did so well compared to Twilight Princess.
I’m 24 and do like new stuff, I just think of visual appeal as secondary. Imagine if the same processing power for one 3D Pokémon world powered all the Pokémon worlds in two dimensions.
What software do you make?
Aww thanks <3
