It’s going to get better! The kids just left for a 5 day beach vacation with grandma.
And now me and my partner are off for our own mini holiday 💕The heat wave is unbearable. But other than roasting my butt off, I’m doing good. Enjoyed the day off due to the free federal holiday yesterday.

Sick leave from work. Chilling at home, making some tea and doing nothing at all. Feels great.
Sick leave from work, spent 3hrs at the gym yesterday. Planning on spending 3 more today. And tomorrow. Sick leave is the best.

My home village is surrounded by wildfires. I don’t live there anymore but I have friends and family who do and I feel sad for them. So many homes and businesses have burned to the ground.
