I think I saw “One Cut of the Dead” with subtitles on a plane, so I assume subtitles are an option. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7914416/
I didn’t expect to like it, but ended up liking it by the end of the movie.
Reddit -> Beehaw until I decided I didn’t like older versions of Lemmy (though it seems most things I didn’t like are better now) -> kbin.social (died) -> kbin.run (died) -> fedia.

It’s supposed to rain here all weekend so working outside is probably out. I might finally do some gaming after months of not.
I need to get a new video edited and posted by Sunday afternoon.
I remember seeing a video at some point but not if it were cutscene/promo or gameplay
I might have to get to them at some point, then; time is the limiting factor now as I work 1.5 jobs and have all the normal home maintenance/work on top of that.
Playing FFVII once was plenty for me and I’ve no desire to play its v2 (doubly so if the camera/controls are the same as the PS1 version, though I doubt that). XVI I didn’t even know about. Disliking the camera/controls of VII was part of the reason I never played the later ones except for the MMOs.
Does Evil Dead become Cabin of Evil? Also, any Tent(s) of Evil?
ゴジラ (go・ji・ra) somehow got turned into “Godzilla”.
(I’m a native English speaker living long-term in Japan, so I’m not sure which “your language” goes here, but English names of Japanese movies seems like the better bet).
I’m not sure I understand. The game is available on other platforms, but that’s not what your post’s title is asking, specifically mentioning ‘on PS5’. Or were you trying to point something else out that I’m not awake enough to see yet?
For what it’s worth, I’ve not heard of it on Steam, either, but I effectively work two jobs right now so I don’t have much time to game, sadly, and don’t often keep up with the news.
Because I don’t have a PS5 and don’t follow its games?
I always tell people to go in late autumn or March-ish (but avoid cherry blossom season unless you like insane crowds). Maybe a bit warmer times if you’re doing mountain climbing or something
It’s supposed to be 33 again Friday (and probably still like 90% humidity as it was today). I moved out of Tokyo to get away from that nonsense. I’m slightly worried I didn’t move far enough north
I used to bale hay and loading haylofts was the worst. Almost zero ventilation stacking bales in the top of a barn in the hottest parts of summer.
My lawn isn’t going to mow itself and even when I get rid of the grass and turn it into more growing space, I still need to be outside to maintain things. This includes trying to keep the bamboo and kudzu from swallowing everything. We were at 33.x yesterday when I looked and humidity has been around 90% most of the time.
Japan has 勤労感謝の日 which is typically translated as “labor thanksgiving day” in English and is 23 November this year. We have no national public holiday on May 1st this year. I think it’s possible for some of the Golden Week holidays to fall on the 1st technically, but I’m not 100% sure on that.
I was never into her or her content (IIRC, she wasn’t making anything that caught my attention), so this was more of a general question (hence ‘person or thing’ in my question) rather than specific to her situation.
a sign of fickle Western users like myself before doing
So if someone is into a person or thing at a point, they can never become not interested in that thing? I’m confused by the message here.
chuckles in Japanese I’m in danger.
/ well, I live a few km inland and outside of tsunami risk for now. I probably won’t live long enough for that to change too much since I’m already in my 40s.
I bought a Pixel watch when my Garmin finally died and got a Pixel phone a few months before that to finally get out of Apple’s ecosystem. I did buy a tablet before that ran Android to make sure I didn’t hate it (and nearly gave up on it because my Amazon Fire Tablet was so shit, but I ended up replacing it with a better tablet), but I couldn’t care less about a pixel tablet or earbuds (well, headphones in my case; I despise earbuds), etc.
I listen to podcasts while I’m working outside a lot. Data Over Dogma has been my recent obsession. It’s an atheist and an LDS guy who does interpretation and translation of the ancient sources and such go over, often with relevant guests, stuff about the bible and how it often completely misconstrued. I’m an atheist who grew up in a christian setting and I find it super interesting just on the history aspect.
I also listen to podcasts about farming and such, but I doubt that’s most peoples’ cuppa (and I don’t know if any are actually on youtube).
I wonder how much ship-of-theseus work can be done. I doubt they made things terribly modular but hopefully certain functions and groups of them are replaceable for some improvement. But, yeah, not ideal at all.
