Yeah there’s a bit to go before the sea goes over the cliffs of Moher for sure.

Haven’t watched it in years but it’s a classic everyone should watch, absolutely gut wrenching. Some of it was later used in a Metallica music video bringing it back to notoriety somewhat.
I have this but not about being a softie, but about speaking too loud. I know I do it, I know it’s bad, I’m thankful when someone points it out so I can adjust, but I’m still mega pissed off for a moment when someone does.
Right I was mostly referring to the whole “the game is your job and you pay to do it” aspect.
The WoW model.
I’ve finally cancelled my game pass (and my WoW sub but that’s because I don’t have time). I’ll be putting the monthly savings towards buying games I actually want to play, starting with Portal.
1+2 was so good.
It made slightly more sense back in the days, when each update also used to bring significant changes to the game engine, graphics, etc etc. But these days those changes are so incremental they’re barely noticeable, so simple yearly updates and a full refresh maybe every 4/5 years would be fine, but they figured out people don’t mind paying an AAA price tag every single year so why stop.
I think I’ve only seen these in France, which is crazy because it’s such a simple and elegant solution to this “problem”.
Yep my wife likes these games so I usually get it for her but only 6 month/a year later when there’s good sales. Personally I lost interest after Odyssey (which I loved), I’m just waiting for one set in Japan!
I always thought I’d enjoy that job, specifically at a somewhat nice hotel. I like making drinks and hotel seems like it would be mostly drama-free, or at least not the same as a dive bar. You liking it?
Lewis, Shiloh or Wallace.
Won’t somebody think of the property values??!??
I know it’s Japan inspired but I never went there (might do soon), it reminded me of the islands around Hong Kong though.
If you make it comfy enough you won’t mind the slower speed.
Wow the quality on this one is really good, even zooming in. Even the food on the table, nothing is “scrambled” etc, impressed.
You can tell these things are trained on internet data by how good the cats are, no shortage of training materials.

Are you usually crew? I’m trying to move into crew work (from solo camera operator stuff), did a couple PA/gaffer gigs but aiming for DoP.
