Hardspace shipbreaker. You are a wage slave in orbit, disassembling and salvaging ships and binning the components. It’s very dystopian. Essentially it’s a puzzle game, to maximize profit and completion rate, but with physics and lasers.

There’s abotu 5 seconds of “mecha” in the trailer. Looks awesome, but that is sooooo brief.
I vote we launch the children as weapons.
What does this have to do with games? Please remove.
Nah, this is bullshit. It was unpopular, so they squashed it and are claiming some stupid crap.
You should mention that it’s free.
Are you cherry picking the good games out of older libraries? I find people do that a lot when remembering. It’s a survivorship bias thing. The good ones get remembered more and the bad one forgotten, so they seem like the population is better.
I hate it because it was a bait and switch. I didn’t have to and now they’ve altered the deal after I’m wayyyyyyyyyyyyy past the refund period. If it wasn’t gonna be optional, don’t let me play in the first place.
Did you post this 3 times on purpose?
What a weird case. As much as I don’t like big companies or take two, I find it hard to understand how a tattoo is owned by the artist and not the bearer of it. It’s James’s body at that point.
No shit it’s gonna fail. If you half ass something you obviously didn’t wanna do, in an already fucked up development situation, it’s not going well. No shit Sherlock.
I’m so pissed. I was so hyped for pve. I love the overwatch character design and universe but hate pvp.
I’m not going to think oh look a kotaku article just because of the name, I went there because of the quality of journalism that was there.
lol, I see that name and it actually lowers the likelihood I’ll read it. They do have good info, but sometimes take it too far with editorializing. That said, they’re not polygon, which I’ll just skip.
As @domi@lemmy.secnd.me said:
Outside of any ridiculous internet drama, what does this have to do with Horizon?
According to their wikipedia page they are not involved with this game at all.
Played the demo. Really enjoyed it. I’m looking forward to full release!
I’m the opposite. I don’t like any of the dlc. I’ve bought them all and all are boring compared to the base game.
I didn’t have the issue in the article, where settings and launchers were having problems. I had an issue where my OneDrive was full and I was getting warnings. I was super confused because I’d never enabled it and was wondering what the hell was going on. It took some time to realize it was syncing and I’d gone over my storage, despite never opting in! It was a PITA to undo something I’d never signed up for. It really had its hooks into my file system.
oooh, this looks neat. I’ve been kind of “meh” on the FFF’s recently, but this is good soup.
Second: Not that I’m necessarily against it, but this looks like a straight up clone of Oxygen Not Included. I’m all for different studios giving their take on a concept, but I’m hard pressed to find what this does that ONI doesn’t do?
I don’t mind it if it uses ONI as a starting point. It’s super early in the dev stage, so that’s a fine starting point. If it ends up being a straight clone, sure, that’s boring and it probably won’t do well, but if it goes its own path, then yeah. Plenty of games start at the same point and then veer off.
Gimme some heavy armor gameplay. I need a mortar launcher and some turrets.
Eh. Pass. I don’t care for creepy horror without something else. I liked horror comedy, campy earlier versions.
