Yeah. The far-right border bill that aided in the demonization of immigrants we’re seeing today. The fact that so many democrats attached their name to it only served to launder the right’s racist fear-mongering about immigrants.

You probably shouldn’t dual-boot Windows at all. They’ve demonstrated that they will break other OSes that you have installed, time and time again.
However, if you absolutely have to dual boot Windows (instead of running it in a VM or something), I’ve been wondering if it might be a good idea to install your bootloader on one of those SD cards that have write-protection switches, and just leave write-protection enabled except when you update the bootloader. That might be the only way I’d feel safe with a non-VM installation of Windows living anywhere near my real OS.

UTM is not an emulator. It’s virtual machine software. It utilizes QEMU, which is an emulator, but they are different things.
It’s fine for laypeople to mix this up, but it’s annoying to see every tech headline get it wrong.
It’s almost everything. You can play most games on Linux. You can’t bolt-on the quality of life features that Valve has on Windows.
There’s a reason most Steam Deck users don’t install Windows on it, even though you can.

Do you have a source for this? I was interested in this device until I heard this, but I haven’t found anything that states what the display technology actually is.
The closest thing I’ve found to being suspicious is that their site uses terms like “paper-like finish”, which doesn’t seem too out-of-the-norm for this category of device, and they have marketing photos implying that usability in the sun is on-par with other e-ink devices.
It didn’t help that democrats had a hard-right pivot by laundering the racist “border crisis” narrative and didn’t propose any progressive alternative narratives to anything else.
