Yep. Fuck Nintendo. I don’t care how good their games might be, they’re not getting another dime from me for as long as they’re hostile to their community and customers.
Hello, tone-policing genocide-defender and/or carnist 👋
Instead of being mad about words, maybe you should think about why the words bother you more than the injustice they describe.
Have a day!

It’ll be Ubislop, or your money back!
Russia is the country imposing the invasion in Ukraine. Russia is the only country that can stop doing the invasion.
FYI: The Mises caucus is an even more far-right faction of the (fake) Libertarian party that leans pretty heavily into ethno-nationalist policies. I’d take everything this organization says with a massive grain of salt.
This is just me being pedantic, but I keep seeing this mistake when UTM is mentioned (specifically in headlines), so I feel like I have to say something:
UTM is not an emulator. It is virtual machine software that uses an emulator (QEMU) to virtualize operating systems.
The difference: emulators emulate hardware. On which, the virtualized operating systems run.
Let’s remove them in real life 🙂
If you think that is terrorism, just wait a few years to see what relegating climate activism to polite asks will do. Letting corporations destroy our planet will directly lead to more violence and destruction, and it will only get worse the more we rely on their benevolence.
Or… use software that isn’t openly hostile toward you.
It would help if GitLab could step-up their CI/CD pipelines to get on the level of GitHub workflows. YAML-ized bash scripts don’t cut it for me.
I hope if he has a red line for the SC, it’s actually real and unlike the fake one that Israel totally didn’t cross.
Pack that fucking court already.
13/10 thumbnail design.
Do you have a source for this? I was interested in this device until I heard this, but I haven’t found anything that states what the display technology actually is.
The closest thing I’ve found to being suspicious is that their site uses terms like “paper-like finish”, which doesn’t seem too out-of-the-norm for this category of device, and they have marketing photos implying that usability in the sun is on-par with other e-ink devices.
I played the demo for this. The atmosphere is excellent. It’s like a cross between Silent Hill and the PSX Final Fantasy games. This is definitely worth a look if you haven’t heard of it before.
Local state encryption is huge.
They’ve been too busy doing god’s work to get around to something like making an icon 🫡
But seriously: I think the icon looks nice 🙂
I hate that LLMs seem to be positioned to replace real artists (in specific, corporate niches) as much as anyone, but trying to poison the LLMs themselves just seems completely ineffective in the face of regular snapshots and QA, right?
Maybe I’m wrong, but I assume that any company trying to sell their LLM to anyone would surely be taking weekly (or even daily) snapshots of it and testing for degradation. If so, stuff like this seems pretty futile.
And nothing of value in Brazil was lost.
It’s almost everything. You can play most games on Linux. You can’t bolt-on the quality of life features that Valve has on Windows.
There’s a reason most Steam Deck users don’t install Windows on it, even though you can.
