I keep seeing videos of Alex Terrible growling so loud you can hear him even without a mic, so I’m gonna check out Slaughter to Prevail to see if they’re any good.

PrivacyTools.io, which had a nasty takeover and started selling ad space.
Didn’t know that. Thanks for the heads up.
It’s 2 things IMO:
Boiling frog. A lot of people can’t see beyond a few years ahead, so if it’s not something that drastically changes immediately, they won’t really care. Until it’s too late of course.
Too big, too global. A lot of people can’t see beyond their own circle/bubble. So someone from Florida might not care that the Maldives is sinking and disappearing, but will maybe be alarmed when Florida starts.
Not insurance for sure. They’ll just pull out of your state.
Thanks, that’s a good point. I used to live in a country that uses 220V as standard, so we could easily plug in stand-alone induction cooktops anywhere.
The new home I purchased has a gas stove. Instead of replacing it, we’re planning to just buy a portable (pluggable) 1-plate induction cooktop as our primary cooking station, and use the gas stove for longer cooking like boiling rice/pasta or pressure cooking. It shouldn’t be an issue to plug the induction cooktup into one of the outlets in the kitchen right?
Arguing with technicalities when it concerns the health of people is vile.
If you’re on IOS, the Focus feature is great. I use it primarily for sleep to turn off all notifications except for calls (in case of emergencies). But you can basically configure multiple profiles with different notification settings. Also, whenever I install a new app on my phone, I turn notifications off unless it’s a time sensitive app like a messaging app.
Even the site is offline. Anyone else getting a blank page?
I follow the NBA, and the gambling stuff is so obnoxious. From ads, to fans becoming vile to players for “ruining” their parlay, some players actually getting involved with the gambling, and then the referees themselves too. It’s really having a negative impact on the game.
He works in tech sales. I hope he was never one of the hundreds who have cold called me. Or if he did, one of the ones I blocked.
I’m smuggling greenhouse gasses in my dentist’s clinic right now. lol. Kidding aside, it’s a guy selling banned refrigerant, if you didn’t bother to read the article.
That is a very good quote.
She’s awake!
I hate how carbon credits are a thing. It’s just throwing money at a problem so people turn a blind eye to what you’re doing and not actually helping solve the problem.
I went to Trader Joe’s for the first time yesterday. The one near me is pretty small so there’s a very small selection. I’ll probably only go for things that only they have, but otherwise, it was meh.
Well that sucks. Venue is further away from the strip.
Decoupling fb from their messenger would be nice. A lot of people are only on facebook to keep in touch with family who use it, and usually you only need messenger for that.
I’m not in the demographic of high fuel users described in the article, but I am a prime candidate for an EV. I don’t drive much, prefer urban living (live close to everything, shorter drives), and the occasional road trip is not more than 4 hours long and on city routes. The problem is charging. I live in an apartment with no chargers, and there aren’t a lot of public charges close to me in my area. If my apartment ever does install charges, I’ll have to compete with other residents. I hope they standardize chargers to be compatible with all models and have them everywhere.
I had no idea he was actually in prison. I thought he was still holed up in an embassy of some country.
