I have no problem with deluxe edition things being independently available as dlc. Honestly more games should do that.

I’m pretty sure Epic has shills or a pr firm doing anti-valve posts. They always use the same handful of talking points. There was never much hate towards valve until these last few years, other than comments on lame sales.
The more I look at this the more I realize how bad ai is at understanding how objects work.
You need a much better reason than I don’t like this thing for defederation.
The only thing that seems to regularly get instances defederated here is child porn. Those instances don’t seem to host any.
You can absolutely license a crap load of games and be successful with it. Games Workshop does that with 40k. They haven’t had much that’s as huge as BG3, but the generally are reasonable games. Some are garbage mobile games, but a lot aren’t that as well.
I doubt Hasbro/WotC can actually handle licensing out IP as successfully as GW, but it’s totally possible to do.
It takes companies a long time to realize sharing can actually result in making more money.
Is Dwarf really a theme though? Even in theme the sci-fi drg isn’t really similar to traditional fantasy dwarves in Dwarf fortress.
I think it’s more that it’s a meaningless tag. Dwarf fortress and drg are totally different games. Do all games that have any amount of dwarves get this tag? Does LOTR count for Gimli, or total war Warhammer for having a Dwarf playable race, or elder scrolls for the dwemer which are dwarves?
Blizzard already halted any real support for starcraft 1/2 beyond keeping the severs running.
That doesn’t help a ton with music, as the songs are generally for sale. A show of game becoming public domain doesn’t help a ton without music, but it may force companies to be more aggressive in negotiating rights I suppose so they don’t end up in this situation.
This is also why seasons of TV shows were crazy expensive on DVD, have different music on streaming services, and why some shows like the Drew Carey show will never be seen again.
It would be great if we could get a law that makes these ridiculous licensing rules void and delivery medium is detached from copy permission.
The points are made up and votes don’t matter.
These are some great jrpgs with fairly difficult puzzles.
Even in game the tribes often sent people out in groups to explore and hunt robots. It would be pretty easy to turn killing giant robots into an mmo. There’s enough gear in the games to make some basic archetypes prevalent in mmo games. There’s really just not an apparent healer, but you could work around that with a design where every player has to occasionally be the tank and then heal themselves when needed.
It wouldn’t be a fast paced “bullet time” style shooter like the main games, but there’s solid potential in it.
Stop caring about votes in general, it’s bad for your mental health. If anything focus on replies and discussions you spark as that is far more meaningful engagement.
I thought MS was less big on sexual harassment and assault, but maybe I was wrong.
