The reason you can control drones is that it’s basically a full-on OS that can send to arbitrary system commands. If Russia wants it 100% home grown they’re going to have to develop their own architecture. What I suspect is it won’t actually be that home grown and will mostly be Linux based, but Putin doesn’t know the first thing about computer systems so it’ll be fun to watch someone have to tell him that.

It’s the same with North Korea, they claim to have their own PC OS but it’s just Windows XP with a custom skin.

The Epic launcher could actually be so much better if they bothered to put any effort into it. Obviously they’re going to have fewer games and stuff but they could still make a decent launcher that isn’t so annoying to use and actually has additional features.

Part of the problem they have is that it’s actually difficult for game developers to put their games on both platforms so i’ve got to pick one and obviously i’m going to pick Steam.

Hell even AWS isn’t this bad. You can go in and set the maximum data you’re prepared to allow and then it’ll simply just block any connection attempt after that point and send you an alert.

You just have to be aware that you might need to keep an eye on things and be ready to increase bandwidth occasionally in case of something like Black Friday, assuming that kind of thing is relevant to your site.

When I worked in customer service I think the largest i was ever able to issue was a 10% discount. Even with managerial approval I don’t think I ever saw anyone get more than a 25% discount, and that was for legitimate complaints, not the Karen style made up whining.
