Maybe you’ll the drug dealer
I suppose that’s nice. Although I do not see the problem with charging for updates, with multiplayer it’s a problem because people might get pressured into buying something they might otherwise not get it because of friends, but with the single player game I can’t see the issue. And why doesn’t the dev deserve to be compensated?
I don’t know so much about Terraria because I don’t really play it but Minecraft makes most of its money through merchandise. The game is more vehicle to sell green plushies and funko pops than it is to make money itself.
Oh no, worse than that, at least banana republics actually have useful exports.
He is yet to perfect the resigned school teacher look.
Yes I think they would like that
But only in that order.
I see no problem I’m enjoying my seaside property. Although Coventry also survives so it’s not all roses.
It’s extremely high resolution, just have to zoom in. Anyway the town’s useful because you can’t really work out where anything is otherwise.
Although I’ve got to admit I’m not quite sure why they have tiny villages on there it’s useful but I’m not quite sure why the decision was made.
The fact that it is useful technology though means they’ll always have a fullback. It’s not going to go way like bitcoin I guarantee it.
The blockchain bubble burst because everyone with a brain could see from the start that it wasn’t really a useful technology. AI actually does have some advantages so they won’t go completely bust as long as they don’t go completely mad and start declaring that it can do things it can’t do.
Put a sticker on it. But realistically, I’ve yet to see any products that were made by an AI on the market. So what exactly is this sticker going to go on?
I’ve never understood the supposed problem. Either AI is a gimmick, in which case you don’t need to worry about it. Or it’s real, in which case no one’s going to use it to automate art, don’t worry.
Yeah but these ones were never designed to survive. I get what you’re saying but no one wanted these to be long lasting there was no effort to make them survive
I don’t actually think they do design this stuff to survive salt water. They don’t really care, since they’re prototypes. In the long run they’ll design them to survive ocean impact, but these ones, no. They were never expected to survive.
Congress would definitely have shut down NASA if they’d have that many failures which is why they never did it like this but that doesn’t necessarily mean that doing it like this is a bad way of doing it.
NASA did do some testing but they never did integrated testing. Who knows, if they done integrated testing then perhaps Apollo 1 would have just been a test and no one would have died. Had they filled the crew capsule with the air mixture and had some device simulating human movement maybe they would have realized that static electricity was a problem. You can’t simulate absolutely everything and if you do go with simulations at some point you have to test your assumptions in the real world.
NASA didn’t do this for political reasons, not engineering ones.
I actually was wondering if CFD would even apply for plasma. It kind of behaves weirdly and not like a liquid at all.
There’s also the fact that even if they could simulate all of that there’s no way they would be able to simulate it to a high enough resolution that the “plasma” would find its way into that hinge joint. So any data it came up with would be useless anyway.
Well it was landing in the ocean so it was never going to be reusable.
They never really recovered from covid. All the big game studios just did live streams of varying quality and then realized that it’s much simpler for them to just do that than go to a big conference. They stopped going to the conferences and started just doing their live streams.
It also didn’t help that Sony and Microsoft would have their own conferences for their consoles and any games that were releasing on those consoles. Then a lot of the time those games would also be releasing on PC at some point so they didn’t need a separate announcement for that they just tell you at the PlayStation/Xbox conference.
Then the studios started to have their own conferences, because they couldn’t possibly tell you about a new game in 10 minutes when they could spend over an hour telling you the same stuff.
It’s a bad example anyway because that CGI is really bad even for the time. I was watching Stargate the other day, and even that movie has better CGI and it’s older.
I don’t think they were prioritizing one group over the other I think they just did two things at the same time there’s more than like five cops you know.
I would love it if the world would be a better place but I don’t think the way just stop oil protesters are going about it is helping anyone including themselves. Totally understand why they’re arrested.
