2·4 months agoHere’s to Life by Streetlight Manifesto. A song that alludes to several famous individuals who took their own life, and how while they are great inspirations for the singer, they will never follow in their footsteps through suicide. A lot of songs on that album (Everything Goes Numb) are about overcoming thoughts of suicide and broken relationships.
“And it makes me sick when I think of it, all my heroes could not live with this, and I hope you rest in piece because with us you never did. And K.D.C., you were much too young and you changed my life, but I draw the line at suicide! Here’s to liiiiiiiiiiiiiife!”
Don’t worry, they’re also doing that by taking down storm sirens and replacing them with mobile alerts because basic maintenance is too much to ask. They just assume everyone has access to a phone at all times and that said phone is charged and capable of receiving the alert. Y’know, because the young and elderly don’t deserve to be warned of an incoming tornado!

I used my DSi so much the battery nearly exploded. Swelled so much it broke the rear panel… yet, I bet if I get a new battery it’ll fire right back up.
I spent hours as a kid building levels in Super Mario Flash. Those were the days!
This is going down in history!
Ronto sounds like an excellent place for a Fallout game. There’s so much Canadian lore that could be expanded upon.
Been replaying heavily modded Tale of Two Wastelabds and have been having a blast. Fallout 3 is a lot better with NV’s mechanics.

0·10 months agoOut of everything out there, aircraft are NOT something to skimp and take shortcuts on. These fucks don’t care if we die on their aircraft if it means making shareholders a bit more money. God, I can’t wait for this system to fall apart.
The explanation is that the UK government is an absolute joke, Rishi included.
