Something to note. This doesn’t explicitly mention sales, just concurrent players. That isn’t to say there weren’t sales, but this just indicates people going back to play the games more than it does explicitly mean there was a bunch of new sales.
76 is having a free to play week, which will definitely boost the number of players. It was interesting at first, but the more I play it the more the MMO aspects make me want to go back to Fallout 4 and NV.
Been replaying heavily modded Tale of Two Wastelabds and have been having a blast. Fallout 3 is a lot better with NV’s mechanics.
Those lucky first time nv players
I want to play 4 but i also want to play with proper VATS…
Is there an option or a mod for this?
If i wanted to play a shooting game, i would play FPS.
My roommate just bought the 3, 4, and New Vegas and asked me for the best play order to play the series in.
I just gave her the starter order of 3 then New Vegas and then to ask me if she wants to really dive into the vault afterwards.
Just 1 episode with me slightly complaining about lore during it and she bought the games. Looked beautiful, but too much 76.
Is this why Epic announced that they would be giving them away for free, then on the day of, swapped them out for different games without a word? Lol
Fallout 76 has been getting free dlc every three months since release. It’s packed with content 😍
Is there a mod that would decouple it from online play entirely? My biggest gripe with 76 is that the enemy behavior is janky as fuck because of lag; the monsters shouldn’t be rubber-banding when I’m in a solo room.
Playing from australian internet I don’t even have this problem lol
I wonder how many of them are just getting the games to learn who the hell the factions are because the show really didn’t say a helluva lot. I mean shit, they had a big reveal about one in the end, and if I hadn’t known them from the game the impact would have been lost entirely.
It’s definitely awesome as a fan. I’m interested in how non-fans enjoyed it though.
That’s pretty on brand though. You can definitely complete the games without really learning much faction lore at all if you want. It’s there for people who want it, but the basic story barely even scratches the surface of you don’t do the extra reading.
