Still though, as a thought experiment, imagining a world where tomorrow, Steam is owned by Microsoft, it’s… interesting, to say the least. In the most horrifying way possible, but interesting nonetheless. Quite frankly, I can’t imagine anything worse happening for video games. Like to me, this is what a video game apocalypse sounds like.

76 is fine. It’s not as good as other Fallout games, but if you’ve played them all then it’s more fallout.
I heard the release was bad and avoided it, Steam had a free to play week so I tried it and it looks like they have added/improved a fair amount of stuff. For $10 it’s worth while, but I haven’t finished Fallout 4 so I went back to that instead.
76 is having a free to play week, which will definitely boost the number of players. It was interesting at first, but the more I play it the more the MMO aspects make me want to go back to Fallout 4 and NV.
I prefer to not play team games because I don’t want someone else to be the reason I lose.
Why does it have to be more of the same shit that everyone hates now?
If everyone hated it it wouldn’t sell. There’s plenty of other things being made as well, I haven’t played Sands of Time but I would guess the God of War reboot is a similar genre.
How’s the general community when playing with randos? I bounced off the first one because of toxicity.
It doesn’t really teach you how to play poker or gamble though. You don’t bet anything, and sure you might learn what a ‘flush’ is but it usually doesn’t contain a ‘4-of-a-kind’ at the same time.
I would highly recommend the game to anyone feeling overwhelmed by PoE or bored by Diablo.
It is definitely a good middle ground between the two. It’s not the Blizzard bullshit, has lots of customization options, but isn’t the labyrinth of PoE that requires studying and planning your build before you even start or you’ll be useless in the late game.
I feel like it’s pretty easy to just start experimenting and see what happens. When I decided to try Rogue I would not have expected I’d end up doing a 2- handed build, but dashing around swinging a massive 2Hand club 6 times a second feels pretty satisfying.
I don’t watch sports. I don’t waste my time in sport related posts saying “I don’t care, I don’t watch sports.”

How did they get “lured” into the ban? Looks like Valve decided to ban them already, they just had fun with how they presented it.
I just installed Linux Mint for the first time. As a life long Windows user it’s more intuitive than Windows 11, the install and setup was easier than I’ve ever had doing a fresh install off windows, and I was able to connect to my media tower (still running Windows 10) faster and with less hassle than using a Windows machine.
The only thing that was more difficult was having to look up where to find the setting in Steam for “please provide me Linux versions of games that don’t officially support it.”
