A few things. It’s in a pizza parlor with a bunch of 10-year-olds running around. (We had a private room, but it wasn’t that private.) The crowd wasn’t gay enough as far as the guys were concerned, which is a cultural problem in the area. The women also fell into their heteronormative roles and gossip. Half of the folks there weren’t into bdsm that much, they were just poly swinger folks. A lot of distrust for one another, some stratification between age groups, no real cohesion.
