Too much traffic. I imagine the roads are horribly congested, 10 lanes of 5mph if you’re lucky. Takes an hour just to get through the black gate. Ridiculous. Contraflow past barad dûr so it’s down to fucking 40 because of narrow lanes. Don’t get caught needing a piss in that.
This poster really highlights how little screen time women get in the trilogy. I guess at least Tolkien didn’t suffer from “men writing women” syndrome.
