I know but thanks. the data on this is rather old so I thought if I can get the prices from the game directly I could write something that changes with the game if an update messes up the prices.

Cursed, very reductive destiny’s child?
Exactly. They can get fucked
I havent played tekken since PS3 days so I was totally oblivious. Thanks for mentioning this.
Fuck. I really wanted to buy that game. But I’m not puttin up with this shit. Good bye tekken. I hope a lot of people join me - and vocally so.
Absolutely.
Thats actually what I hope will happen at some point.
It is. She is the movie version of rage bait. The amount of cruelty, incompetence, malice and sheer bigotry is shocking.
I really cant listen to companies shitting on customers anymore. Be a shame if people started being less reasonable.
You obviously know how the basics of software engineering work. Investors dont need to know that. They only need to have money. Here‘s an article about layoffs that shows how basic that though is: https://money.com/tech-layoffs-affect-stock-prices/ (layoffs = good decision, stock price go up). Its obviously a little more complicated than that but imo it hints at why layoffs below a certain percentage might encourage investors.
You know that and maybe they know it as well. But the investor overlords want to see big number go up.
I think the idea that everyone can invest in companies and demand their undying loyalty is pretty stupid.
Someone hinted at the fact that ceos used to be bound to stakeholders (customers, employees, community) instead of shareholders. Some court decision is said to have broken this. I searched for it a couple of times but cant find it. Anyone have the source of this?
This just figures after their tvos app gets worse and worse.
Thats a great idea. I watched a documentary about alcohol, alcoholism and the alcohol industry and every 2 minutes I went like „its all just capitalism, isn’t it?“
Like the stuff we see in these games is all about the fun side, getting stuff done in the most efficient way, automating etc.
But in the real world, its more about keeping new companies from entering the market, closing off as much of your market share to others as possible and exploiting vulnerabilities in every system you can find. Influencing customers and politicians by any means necessary and weaseling your way around getting regulated, as if the stuff you sell wasnt just making you rich.
The most impressive feat was bringing binge drinking to africa and making a country (nigeria) that has abstinence of 50% drink more than the other countries by employing hookers to fuck alcohol into peoples heads. They even had a former boardmember of heineken (I think) to corroborate the story.
Its so disturbingly absurd that I haven’t really grasped all of it yet. But managing simulations are not the „capitalism“ that we live in cuttently.
They had to name it capitalism and economy fest?
It’s not an easy conclusion for me. I feel like not playing into someones hand by not doing what makes you the most money is nice for a change. But is it ok to play into greedy media conglomerates hands by keeping their secrecy schemes intact and fuel the hype train that only exists to suck larger and larger amounts of money out of the customer?
Dont forget they ruin everyone who even touches their stuff. Dogs.
