Here’s the rub: it doesn’t matter. None of this does. Trumps followers believe this regardless of the reality, and the truth doesn’t matter. It never did. For whatever happens, they’ll believe whatever they want.

One can hardly be active in GOP politics today without having committed at least a few thousand federal crimes. Skating past indictments and, certainly, at least a few convictions seems to be a litmus test for “leadership” in their criminal cabal.

It’s a freeze-frame of a high-speed action sequence with motion blur. You almost certainly wouldn’t notice in that second shot. Maybe in the first, which was a slower tracking shot.

The show is awesome, and has already been greenlit for S02. It would have been so easy to fuck this show up, but they knocked it out of the park. As an avid player of the games, I loved it! This reviewer doesn’t know what they’re talking about.

They do a tiny bit to explain ghouls, but not a lot. It’s mostly implied that they’re the result of nuclear radiation. It’s not that complicated, really.

But some other stuff really could use more backstory, that’s true.

It gives a lot of background for those unfamiliar to the lore. I’m pretty sure newcomers will also like it. It’s a lot of fun, like the games!

Personally, I’ve found it pretty great. I’ve watched the whole thing and am going in again for another binge. The ending is great. Knowing that it’s already been greenlit for season 2 gives me a lot of hope.

It would have been really easy to fuck this show up, but they really managed to pull it off!

i thought it was a hilarious self-satire of not only the Matrix franchise but of soft-reboot sequels in general and a commentary about how all of the beating-of-dead-horses needs to stop, and i loved it. i laughed through the whole thing. i felt that it was a final nail in the coffin for any more Matrix films, and i have no clue how they’d possibly make another.

Great story. It’s on GOG. Beyond a Steel Sky is the sequel, released a few years ago. Kinda sad, but really great, too. Made by the creators of the original from the 90s, and has an in-game commentary track!
