A truly shocking number of people don’t use any form of adblock. I doubt that driving off the adblock users will have a significant effect on viewership (and even if it does, why would Google care, it’s not like we’re making them money).

If your goal is to get people on your side, you should strive for visibility, not annoyance. Annoyance doesn’t gain you sympathy, it costs you. It’s actively counterproductive.

I’m repeating myself here, but pre-Covid FFF had the right strategy. They were starting to get results even.
