Because doing that would be leaving money on the table
More like it’s because it doesn’t support Mac as much as they want them to.
It’s surprising what it does support. Supports my Switch Pro Controller, Joy Con (single, not both at once), and even my Wii U Pro Controller.
Need to try Wii Motes with Wii Pro Controller next…
As the site has never posted a profit in all its 18 years of operation, when has it not failed in a business sense?
A good product takes time and money. You can’t pump out a quality game in 6 months to a year and make the same amount of money that a F2P game would make when made in the same time frame.
Keep in mind that the mobile game market made more money than the console and PC market combined. And most mobile games are F2P, and don’t cost as much to build.
They are looking for quantity not quality. The morality isn’t a factor involved.
John Romero now lives in Galway, Ireland, and according to the FAQ on Romero Games:
I’ll be in Galway. Can I stop by the studio? As a game development studio, we’re not really set up for public tours. Most of the stuff we’re working on is under non-disclosure agreements. However, if you want to say a quick hello to someone here, you’re welcome to contact us, and we’ll see what we can do.
So it is possible to meet him, and not just at conventions.
