I mean, we all knew it was quite easy, but I still think that it’s journalistically valuable to go through with it to see, and show how easy it actually is.

Artsy fartsy pretentiousness can be quite fun.
one of my favorite games unfortunately cannot be run on linux at all, and it’s a gacha. I don’t want to gamble with my account being banned
Yeah, let’s keep it to one kind of gambling. I like and use opensuse tumbleweed. Rolling release, never had stability problems.
Seriously. I really liked Origins and had fun with 2 and Inquisition. If this is great, I’ll happily play it. If I don’t like it, I won’t - I have more backlog than time for games anyway. I don’t get what people get so angry about.
They do have a pretty fun playable game though. I bought one of the basic packs forever ago, and at this point, I wouldn’t even care if they where to exit scam. I don’t think they will, but I’ve certainly gotten my money’s worth out of it.
Why does that sound like a threat?
Haven’t played in forever, but this seems like they’re selling an A-rated, non-engineered ship. Don’t think this is pay to win. I don’t like it, but the game has been going for 10 years, and Frontier doesn’t seem to be doing great financially, so it might have well been this or shutting it down entirely.
Because most Web traffic has become more and more concentrated on a few large platforms over the last, like, two decades.
I don’t think there’s a one size fits all solution. You could advertise. You could also promote some of your photos on other social media, and hope that people check out the linked site. If the content and the UX is good, some of those people will probably stay.
Generally, times are hard for independent sites, though.
I mean, as long as you are the one prompting ChatGPT, you can probably get it to spit out the right recommendations. Works until they fire you because they are convinced AI made you obsolete.
I mean, I don’t see the point in not upgrading when your device supports it. The interface pretty much stays the same at this point, and they usually do improve on security, and other background stuff.
My og OnePlus Nord is still going strong with Lineage, but if it fails at some point, I feel that the Pixel a phones are kinda the best on offer at the moment, with the long update support, the hardware, the price, and the possibility to throw Graphene on there.
Never really saw the point in flagships after mid-rangers started becoming pretty good.
I think that assuming that editorial decisions are never influenced by financial interests would be naive, but they’re such a big organisation that covers such a breadth of topics that it would also seem foolish to assume a douplicitous intent behind every story. It might just be journalist covering a currently relatively widely discussed topic.
Also, Reuters generally does quite well in remaining relatively neutral in their coverage (though that impression might of course just be based on my biases).
