I miss the days of Android 4.4 so much

If we talking about modern Android, good to know. I used to run a launcher on a modded Samsung Galaxy Young (CyanogenMod11) that had a fixed notification option to prevent Android from killing it (the device had 512MB of RAM).

You used to be able to just create a fixed notification and Android would never kill the app. This is not the case anymore?

That’s true, but had no idea where else I could post this. I felt this was the closest community.

Unfortunately it seems not much is left, and who originally uploaded didn’t still. The game is not that popular unfortunately it’s a quite dead f2p game actually.

It struck me as odd actually, as I have always believed this to be a beautifully optimized game (it still use). I’ve used the Linux build on my laptop (with propritary NVIDIA) and runs exactly like the Windows version.

On Steam Deck under Proton I am now using the High preset, then manually maxed out environment quality, weather quality and population and still remains at fixed 60.

Under Proton 8.0 presets (DirectX11 renderer):

• Ultra -> ~50FPS average, 100% GPU usage, 40% CPU, 70°C
• High -> 60FPS average, 90% GPU usage, 30% CPU, 55°C (When uncapped ~70FPS average)
• Medium -> 60FPS average, 50% GPU usage, 25% CPU, 55°C (When uncapped ~120FPS average)
• Low -> 60FPS average, 20% GPU usage, 20% CPU, 40°C (When uncapped ~160FPS average)

Yeah, looks like the official Linux build of the game is not as optimized as I tought.

KoboldCPP now pretty much can run everywhere, even without a GPU. CPU only without Cuda on a 9th Gen i7 takes around 60 seconds to create a response, depending on complexity. That is actually an alright time for not hardware accellerated usage.

Run whatever model you wanna run, I won’t judge. A lot of people use the software for mostly porn anyway alright.

Point at the case, because mine was an affirmation that it wasn’t good as I reluctantly used it.

Adblock Plus was the only decent adblocker available for Internet Explorer 11 a couple of years ago. Only reason I used it.

It was actually an inaccuracy. Some keyboards mostly from Microsof come with the Office key.

Pressing Office plus other keys would open various Microsoft products, a few example:
Office+W opens Microsoft Word
Office+D opens OneDrive
Office+L opens Linkedin

But you don’t actually need the key, as all this features are actually binded to Shift+Ctrl+Alt+Super (In Windows, Super is the Windows key on the keyboard). In fact, all Office button shortcuts can be used by using the same combination (Like Shift+Ctrl+Alt+Super+L for Linkedin).

Prettu much will just be a shortcut key like the Linkedin button on some laptops

That’s honestly amazing for mobile software development. A stack of devices that can make great testing devices or compact servers if cheap enough. Or Clash of Clans/Pokemon GO alt accounts.

It’s not only with Black Friday. The Android tablets market is flooded with absolute expensive stinkers for devices. You will notice this in any physical electronic store.

We will see how cheap. If it’s cheap enough then I can even consider it for some MacOS software development.
