I’m pretty sure it’s a reference to the Tesla “robot” showed off at an event that turned out to just be a guy in a suit on top of the other things already mentioned by others.

Yeah, hard agree with what they’re saying and like the fact that they’re delaying prison architect 2 in light of that.
Lately and because some early access games have caught my eye, I’ve been thinking about how I don’t have as much time for gaming and want the complete experience right away. If I play a game before it’s fixed or before all the content is out, most likely I’ll never play the game at it’s best because I’ve moved on already.
Finally watched “Nope”. Loved it. I love horror but usually prefer supernatural stuff, so slept on this one a good long while, but man, great character writing, excellent story telling. I see why so many people recommended it
I’ve spent so many hours on it, something about it makes time just slip away for me. But once I get to rockets I get overwhelmed and eventually just start a new colony
Were you into DMC or Bayonetta? I love those games for similar reasons. Might be worth checking out if you’re into hack and slash gameplay and you haven’t tried them already.
So what is it about RE that keeps you coming back? Were you into all the games in the series?
I feel like you gotta know what kind of games appeal to you. I’m also not into a whole lot of modern games but I got completely absorbed with Outer Wilds and Subnautica. Freely exploring a world with interesting mechanics while you try and uncover what is going on. Love it.
I also found I really enjoy Oxygen Not Included and Frostpunk. Something about making sure all my people are surviving and hopefully thriving really keeps me invested. And the little narrative things in those games are nice icing on top too.
So for games you like, like the RE 4 remake, what were the things you liked about it? Once you know what kind of things you enjoy in games it makes it easier to find more of that.
I always thought couscous was it’s own grain and was confused by your statement so I had to look it up.
TIL couscous is made from wheat flout, semolina specifically, and is technically a pasta.
That said, the title of the map does say it’s comparing staple foods, not grains. Makes perfect sense to do IMO.
Maybe a hot take, but I liked The Pope’s Exorcist, hit all the right classic-supernatural-horror buttons for me. Didn’t know about this newer movie but now I wanna watch it
Makes sense, we know how much the US likes to spread democracy
Truth. I was genuinely angry seeing how Spotify kept trying to buy up everything podcast related. Felt like I was screaming into the void about how platform exclusive podcasts are antithetical to the free and open nature of podcasts. I hope their billions of dollars invested into podcasts continue to bite them in the butts.
Somehow I think Podcasts will survive enshittification. The basis is just RSS and file hosting, so at its core, it’s possible to create and distribute podcasts without huge capital investment. There’s always gonna be some people trying to get their voices out and Podcasts still seems to be the easiest way to do that so until some better method comes out, podcasts will live on.
If you’re talking about Podcast networks, streaming services, ad networks, then yeah, those might face some kind of enshittification and destruction, but no matter what, I’m pretty confident some good podcasts, and some good ways to listen to them, will stick around.
A flash of light and a clap of thunder assaults your senses.
As your vision clears, this proud warrior stands before you.
“What year is it?” He demands.
“20- uh 2024?” You stammer.
The warrior stumbles as the words reach him, his world, his purpose crumbling. “Too late to save him… This time line is lost. Forgive me Harambe” he whispers to himself in anguish.
Hope it works! I do see with a brief search that there was apparently some kind of cross saving bug for PS5 and looking at headlines only Larian seems to have done something about it at least
I had game save/hanging issues at first too, but figured out it was the cloud saving that was making the game hang. I turned off both the Larian cloud saves and Steam and then the game worked smoothly for me.
The compulsion to commit to a bit battling with the likely screaming, rational part of your brain/programming makes this one of the most relatably human things I’ve seen an LLM do 😆😆🤣👍🤯✨
Yup!
