Godot you say? Got it.

For cheap-ish personal use, the Zebra F-402.
For expensive…need to research.
I’d love to read more studies on the Christopher Nolan thing. I have trouble hearing anyone talk day to day, even when looking at them directly. Anyone with an accent, my brain immediately can’t make sense of it.
I’m not trying to be mean, the dialog just becomes gibberish and I don’t know why. Even if I buckle down and watch their mouth and focus, I can’t decipher things.
But I had zero issues with Inception. My wife wasn’t so lucky. For the first time in forever I was telling her what was said.
Haha, Shareware.
Two vets near me were recently purchased by some megacorp conglomerate. Prices went up, quality went down, it sucks because they were my go to.
This can only end badly.
I miss my LG phone that let me customize the LED color based on app. That way if it were one color I knew it was semi-important, but other colors I knew were…dismissible.
I mean, yes and no. I have multiple Slack and multiple Teams instances. I also have 10 or so email accounts and then SMS and Signal.
Even spammy app notifications aside, I definitely get a lot.
But my solution is just leaving my phone on silent 24/7. So this feature wouldn’t really change anything.
I just set my phone to silent a couple years back and have never been happier. Have I missed a few phone calls? Yeah, but that is acceptable collateral damage.
I otherwise check on my own terms and that’s fine by me…(read: I pick up my phone, notice the number of notifications, and just click Clear All)
FreeTaxUSA has always been my go to, and I have relatively complex taxes, it still works great.
I really don’t understand the Material allure.
I build web apps as a job and the impression I get is that everyone wants Material, “because” - but I don’t know if anyone wants it other than “because” it’s the buzzword of the day.
And it always sucks because the clients always say, “Follow Material guidelines BUT make this smaller, make this less round, use this font we paid for, make the buttons different, and also customize all these components”.
It’s dumb.
I have a 2023+, but it isn’t my daily driver. I’ll fiddle a little and see what I find.
