Why are so many game studios doing such a shit job all the time

Do we need to make piracy even easier? Idk what’s gonna motivate studios to pull their heads out of their asses and try something else to be perfectly honest.

It seems like they just don’t have enough pressure or competition to actually perform on par with what people want.
