I made this as a character for a science fiction setting in the year 50,000. The platok head covering is part of the Transformatsiya religion, which contains teachings from Judaism, Christianity and Islam as well as having its own teachings. The cat ears are a feminist symbol. The platok and cat ears are often worn as a counter cultural symbol.
In the story, Tanyukha is a radical activist who joins a movement that believes that governments can eventually be rendered unnecessary through adherence to the path of God. It’s similar to Christian anarchism.
