I was going to say…haven’t companies been doing this with gift cards forever? Almost every one I’ve ever gotten has an expiration on it. And I’m only saying “almost”. because I can’t be sure that it was literally 100% of the time. But it was probably 100% of the time.
Never liked the practice, but I don’t understand how this is a revelation. I would’ve assumed their gift cards have expiration dates.
