For sure. Things like football games disrupt peoples lives, even cause significant numbers of deaths as associated traffic slows or blocks ambulances. But you never hear about it in the press; only for protests where the news outlet disagrees with the message the protesters have.
It’s a weird catch-22. Journalists might agree with the message but can’t “sell it” without it being some outrage. And then they have to play the both sides angle and give the reactionaries a platform too and make it about the disruption and unacceptable behavior.
