Thats his trademark. I dont want to play a game where all of his wacky crazy ideas get sanitized in the name of having mass appeal.

Yeah IMO the more famous and respected Kojima has gotten, the worse his writing has been. And I think you’ve hit the nail on the head, he badly needs editors. I think it’s kind of like George Lucas in that they have a lot of ideas, some of which are really good and some of which are absolutely batshit. Sometimes those types of writers need someone who can ground them and tell them that they don’t have to put all of their ideas in.
Kojima finally gets his wish to make a movie instead of a game!?
That’s was definitely his end goal when he started cozying up with Guillermo del Toro and other people with short lines to Hollywood
I’ve been wondering when the fuck he would jump into film since he has the money, the talent, the desire and now the recognition to do so.
I wonder if it will have half-hour long game play sections…
