  • Here is a full list of OP’s past accounts. He creates new ones after getting banned for being toxic. His new strategy is deleting posts from his account to hide his tracks. If you scrub through his comment history, you can see the remnants of this behaviour, since Lemmy preserves the titles of posts where someone commented and the fact that they were the OP.

  • we actively try to keep a positive vibe.

Then you should probably just ban OP lol. He has literally never had a positive interaction on Lemmy (I hate dogs, I hate heat, I hate religion, commenting about how miserable he is on every other thread). Just look at his comment history. And that’s saying nothing of his previous accounts because he’s also a serial ban evader.

  • When I started at university, I hadn’t drank much yet in high school. The university I went to was technically a religious institution but it was super low-key, basically a normal college, just that it had a chapel and some funding from the church of England.

Anyway, during the opening week of school, the chaplain gave a short, relatively nonreligious speech to the students. He mentioned at one point an acronym: SALT - Sad Angry Lonely Tired. If you feel like you are any of those things you probably shouldn’t drink. And I really liked that acronym so I have mostly adhered to it ever since. I think it’s a good rule of thumb to avoid the worst aspects of alcohol use. So I personally never drink if I’m feeling depressed. Even if I think it would make me feel better, I simply don’t allow myself to do it.

  • Not great.

My girlfriend has mysteriously disappeared. I haven’t heard from her in 2 weeks and don’t know where she is. This isn’t the first time this has happened, and the last time was because her work made her travel last minute to somewhere where her phone didn’t work. But after that happened, we set up a messaging app to talk to each other so that it wouldn’t happen again. I’m sure there’s some reasonable explanation for the situation, but it is still very painful and anxiety-inducing.

On top of that, my request for medical accommodations to continue working from home rather than being forced back to the office (on the grounds of a doctor’s note from my therapist) has been denied by my company’s bullshit HR process. The email they sent my manager made it clear that they basically just don’t consider invisible disabilities to be real disabilities. I’m going to fight it through my union, but it’s far more headache than I expected to have to deal with right now.

  • FYI you should glance at the account I called out here’s profile (empty at leminal dot space). It’s definitely the same incel, and he’s posting his same incel crap on this muni. I called it when the account had literally one comment and one post. Told ya I’m getting good at spotting him 😅

But there is seemingly someone… Sympathetic to his incel BS in the mod team because reporting him doesn’t seem to do much.

Edit: I’m willing to bet money his new one is Empty at leminal.space. I’ve seen this guy say before he doesn’t even understand what the problem is with ban evasion. In his amoral little mind, it’s just the natural thing to do when you get banned to immediately make a new account somewhere else and continue the exact same behaviour.
