VOTING HAS STARTED
You can now vote for this week’s challenge!
- Voting will be open for at least 24 hours.
- Whichever entry gets the most votes, wins!
- OP will cast deciding vote in case of tie
- Voting will end when OP declares a winner.
Prompt: 2d illustration, low angle, A girl holding up an umbrella, wearing rain boots, looking at the camera with wide surprised eyes, around her hundreds of frogs are falling from the sky, it’s raining frogs in a storm --ar 4:3 --v 6.1
Theme
Oh no, the gods are real and they are pissed!
Every single god that has ever existed has suddenly decided to take action and is busy with smiting and casting plagues for whatever petty reason they can think of.
This week’s challenge is for you to create your own vision of whatever mean, silly or ironic punishment a god might inflict on the world below.
Choose a god (or make up one of your own) and decide on a fitting form of divine punishment for whatever reason you can think of. From the classical swarms of locusts, to the weirdly specific finding-mice-in-your-mustache-if-your-name-is-Alan kind of curses.
Gods are petty and pretty much take offense to anything :)
Format
This challenge will follow a slightly different format. Everyone can submit their image to this post. At the end of the week all images will be collected and shared in a new voting post wherein people can vote on their favorite image. This will be up for at least 24 hours before a winner is made.
There are no extra points to be earned, OP will decide on a winner in case of a tie.
I hope this format will give everyone the opportunity to take their time and have an equal chance at earning votes.
It can be a one-off if this turns out to be too time consuming or impractical.
Rules
- Follow the community’s rules above all else
- One comment and image per user
- Embed image directly in the post (no external link)
- Workflow/Prompt sharing encouraged but not required (we’re all here for fun and learning)
- OP will declare winner in case of a tie
- The challenge runs for at least 7 days from now on
- Down votes will not be counted
- Voting and final scoring will be done in a separate post.
Scores
At the end of the challenge the image with the most votes, wins!
It’s that simple this time :)
The winner gets to pick the next theme. As always, have fun everyone!

The great Speak No Evil god is shocked at the things he’s heard, and has punished those who have offended him by removing their mouths. Warnings have been posted on most city blocks so others do not suffer their fate.
Prompt
A storefront with a television in the window. On the television is a monkey with his hand over his mouth. The store has a sign that says ‘Speak no Evil!’ in bold red letters. Humans walking past have solid skin in place of mouths. The humans look puzzled or concerned. The storefront window is slightly cracked. The style is more anime like.

We have a winner! Congratulations @Trollivier@sh.itjust.works!
You get to choose the next challenge. What did you think of this voting format? Does this work better or shall we go back to the old format?
I’m happy to collect entries and votes for next week as well either way, it’s not a lot of effort now that the worst of it is handled by some rickety scripting :)I think there should be more days to vote. I browse once every other or once per 3 days usually; caused me to entirely miss the voting. I felt the window to submit was large and the window to vote was too small. As this ran 10 days to submit and one to vote, how about instead 7 to submit and 3 to vote? Many people are on every day, but I bet I’m not the only one who occasionally, for whatever reason, misses a day or two.
I thought the fairness was much improved; good job.
Yea I made submission time a bit longer because I wanted to post the voting page on Saturday. It would give me some time to write the code and I thought it might get a bit more visibility over the weekend.
The voting time can be a bit lengthened as well, sure. I’ll leave it up to @Trollivier@sh.itjust.works when and for how long he wants to voting to take place. Just let me know when and I’ll set up the voting page.
I feel like a weekend should be enough for the voting period. From Friday evening until Sunday evening? What do you think?
That’s fine with me, but my Friday evening starts in CET, which might be afternoon for a lot of others. But you can decide when the voting ends, I put up 24 hours as a minimum.
I just figured one week / one weekend is a his balance for challenge / voting period.
I liked the voting format, but I’m the winner so I’m biased :P
as long as you’re “happy” to organize the challenge, why not—but what will happen to the challenge when you’re afk or busy? This format is too dependent on you (also, thank you)
i forgot to vote for mine 🤦 now that you repost, we can +1 our own
i voted for hairry
I see your point. Well in case of my absence (for whatever reason), you could manually create a vote post of your own I suppose. It’s not a lot of work if you keep two windows open side-by-side. Content wise all I did was paste the original source in each comment with the username on top. Considering the amount of submissions we have, it’s probably just 15 minutes of work to do it by hand.
Worst case scenario, you could default back to counting the votes in the submission post? I’ll see if I can clean up my script and share it online though, just in case someone with Python knowledge would like to use it and improve on it.I haven’t seen Mo0Po0 online for some time, so maybe it would also be good to assign an extra moderator for the featuring and un-featuring posts in the community? I feel like my timezone is a bit of a disadvantage.
i guess my timezone is close to yours and you need someone from the americas
Yea, we’d need someone from the other side of the pond. I’m going to message the existing mods, see who’s still active and clean up the list.
After that I’ll put up a post asking if anyone is interesting in moderating, with part of it being to help with the challenges when necessary. It’ll be a simple job, everyone here is always so well behaved :)

Mine is a bit unusual. I’m laying here in my little house with the people down below being not my type of people and one having blamed one of my beautiful, sacred creatures (canine) for something she didn’t do. So I visualize spatially me ~us sacred folk, staying exactly where we are while a beautiful rain dances Down from heaven. It feels beautiful for us ~while a torrential wash unstoppably sweeping away all below.
Transcribing this energy in to prompt, we type: “we stay here basking in the beautiful magical rain while the torrential downpour washes away those we dislike”
And this image appears.
It is beautiful and gentle, and in the picture there is only good. I look at this and think how it has a greater destiny ~just like you.
It is the focus for our manifestation
and here is it’s destined place.
