Trump is an immediate existential threat, as he was for the Million Americans who perished from COVID over two years due to a purposefully sandbagged and almost entirely useless pandemic response. I think it’s pretty clear what is at stake. The Biden campaign needs to make a top-10 (or maybe 100) of the serious consequences of a 2nd Trump term.

I believe that the vacuum is partly caused by the potential threat of political violence. It’s easier to say nothing than to have some Maga asshat shoot at you.
