So I’ve been searching for a few hours how to change tooltip sizes now that microshit has removed the classic display cpl.
Getting frustrated I submitted the above search, and got flagged.
WHEN THE FUCK DID THIS START!?
I’m happy to see I’m not the only one that Google searches like this after a certain level of frustration. “How the fuck do I do the thing and why did they change it in the first place? This is fucking stupid, Google, why can’t you just answer my fucking question, you dumb shit?”
It used to be a quick trick to find good forum responses but since google doesn’t care about any forums but reddit anymore it doesn’t really work like it used to.
Yeah, this time was pure frustration, especially due to all the top and AI responses being from before microsoft dropped their display.cpl.
Literally zero answers across google, bing, yahoo, and ddg, just google was the only search engine shitty enough to block be for it.
This page checks to see if it’s really you sending the requests, and not a robot.
The problem is, robots are making these judgment calls.
Of course Google owns YouTube, and it’s been an issue there for at least a few years.
Isn’t this an anti-ddos page? Happens all the time at my school because we’re 3000 people using one connection.
It’s fiber internet and I am the only person who has used this IP address for 2+ years and I guarantee you it isn’t ddos.
If it’s over VPN, then it could be your VPN server got flagged. If not, then it’s probably just an unusual number of queries. Usually works to wait a few minutes either way.
I don’t think Google blocked you for cursing; I think Google blocked you for looking like a bot (with all caps and not-complete-sentence English and semi incoherence). You’re not a bot, but their system’s not super sophisticated; they just want you to solve a captcha to make sure. They’re not trying to fuck-shame you or anything.
I just searched for “fuck fuck ban me fuck”, “you fuckity fuck control panel fuckity make me banned fuck shit piss cunt” (“It looks like there aren’t many great matches for your search”), and “FUUUUUUUUUUCK cuntbucket for fuck’s sake shitpile” (one result: a Jupyter notebooks gallery). They didn’t ban me. I don’t think the cursing was the issue.
