I did the mistake to back this project on Kickstarter. So I can tell you it’s not a great loss.
Doesn’t Valve offer the ability to host files on their service? I mean I just assumed that was part of the package. I can’t even think of any changes coming to AWS that would necessitate this.
Its not controversial and it wasn’t up to Valve. Its Amazon.
It’s also not amazon. That’s a laughable excuse by the publisher for abandoning the game.
